Egyptian Accreditation Council EGAC

The Egyptian Accreditation Council was Established by Presidential Decree No. 312 for Year 1996 to Become the Only National Body Competent in the Arab Republic of Egypt to Evaluate/Assess and Accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies, which are (Testing Laboratories/ Calibration Laboratories / Inspection Bodies / Certification Bodies of Management Systems / Medical Testing Laboratories / Product Certification Bodies/ Technical Proficiency Testing Service Providers /Proficiency Testing Bodies/ Personal Certification Bodies/ Halal Certification Bodies/ Forensic Laboratories /Biobanks Laboratories).

Presidential Decree No. 248 of Year 2006 was also Issued to Reorganize the Egyptian Accreditation Council and Grant EGAC Technical, Administrative and Financial Independence to Assess and Accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies in Egypt, The Authority of the Egyptian Accreditation Council Comes from the Authority Granted to it by the State.

The Egyptian Accreditation Council is a Government Organization Affiliated to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and is a Non-Profitable Organization.

The Ministry of micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, is the apex body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws relating to micro, small and medium enterprises in India.

Central Vigilance Commission (CVC

Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is an apex Indian governmental body created in 1964 to address governmental corruption. In 2003, the Parliament enacted a law conferring statutory status on the CVC. It has the status of an autonomous body, free of control from any executive authority, charged with monitoring all vigilance activity under the Central Government of India, advising various authorities in central Government organizations in planning, executing, reviewing and reforming their vigilance work.

It was set up by the Government of India Resolution on 11 February 1964, on the recommendations of the Committee on Prevention of Corruption, headed by K. Santhanam, to advise and guide Central Government agencies in the field of vigilance. Nittoor Srinivasa Rau was selected as the first Chief Vigilance Commissioner of India.

The Annual Report of the CVC not only gives the details of the work done by it but also brings out the system failures which leads to corruption in various Departments/Organisations, system improvements, various preventive measures and cases in which the commission's advises were ignored etc. Praveen Kumar Srivastava was sworn in by President, as the Central Vigilance Commissioner, he is a 1988 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre and also served earlier as Vigilance Commissioner.


COMMON SERVICES CENTERS (CSC)

Common Services Centers (CSC) are one of the crucial enablers of the Digital India Programme. They are the access points for delivery of various e-governance and business services to citizens in rural and remote areas of the country. It is a pan-India network catering to regional, geographic, linguistic and cultural diversity of the country, thus enabling the Government’s mandate of a socially, financially and digitally inclusive society. CSCs offer assisted access of e-services to citizens with a focus on enhancing governance, delivering essential government and public utility services, social welfare schemes, financial services, education and skill development courses, health and agriculture services and digital literacy, apart from a host of B2C services.

 

CSC SPECIAL PURPOSE VEHICLE(CSC SPV)

CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle, has been set up by the Ministry of Electronics & IT under the Companies Act, 1956 to oversee the implementation of the CSC scheme. CSC SPV provides a centralized collaborative framework for delivery of services to citizens through CSCs, besides ensuring systemic viability and sustainability of the Scheme.

 

VISION OF CSC SPV

To develop CSCs as a dependable, reliable and ubiquitous IT-enabled network of citizen service points connecting local population with government departments, business establishments, banks, insurance companies and educational institutions, with an impact on primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of the country’s economy.


UP Govt. Society Registration

The Society Registration Act 1860 was made in the year 1860 with the aim of organizing the societies and making laws regarding them. After the passing of the said Act, being a Central Act, the office of Registrar Joint Staff Companies Uttar Pradesh established under the Central Government was authorized for the work of registration of societies. Under this Act, the Registrar Joint Staff Company was authorized to exercise the authority of the Registrar and its implementation. The Government's letter no. 1687 M/XX-58 dated July 21, 1958 entrusted the responsibility of the Registrar of Firms and Societies to the Department of Finance (Audit and Sales) of the Government. Tax) was placed under the department. Through the Government's letter No. Audit-6600/Das-603(1)/61 Finance (Audit) Section dated December 16, 1975, it was decided that PCS Special Grade should be appointed to the post of Registrar Firms, Societies, Uttar Pradesh. Accordingly, PCS officer is working on the said post. Meanwhile, amendments were made in the Society Registration Act 1860 in the year 1975. This amendment was made in the form of Uttar Pradesh Amendment, 1975. Uttar Pradesh Society Registration Rules 1976 were also made. Uttar Pradesh Chit Act 1975 was abolished and replaced by Chit Fund Act 1982, which is a Central Act. Chit Fund Rules 1988 have been made for this Act.
